Dr. Carrie Hicks has been practicing as a Registered Doctoral Psychologist in Saskatchewan for over 20 years. Dr. Hicks completed her Doctoral training at the U of S (Saskatoon) and her Residency at the Glenrose Rehabilitation Hospital (Edmonton), before moving to Prince Albert in 2002 to accept a position as Neurodevelopmental Specialist (SHA) - a role that she continues to provide currently on a part-time basis.

Dr. Hicks opened her private practice in 2011, which she later named, Oasis Mental Health. In 2023, she began operating along side Dr. Michelle Conan. Dr. Hicks provides assessment of a range of mental health conditions, including depression and PTSD, ADHD and intellectual disabilities. She also provides specialized treatment to adults for trauma/PTSD using approaches that include Prolonged Exposure, Cognitive Processing Therapy, Accelerated Resolution Therapy and Trauma Focused CBT.

Dr. Michelle Conan (pronounced: kunn’-a) has been practicing as a Clinical Psychologist in both Manitoba and Saskatchewan since 2018. Dr. Conan completed her Doctoral training at the U of S (Saskatoon) and then a specialized Residency in Rural Psychology practice at the University of Manitoba, before accepting a position with their Clinical Health Psychology department’s rural team in Dauphin, MB.

Dr. Conan opened her private practice in 2022, which she later named, Dr. M. Conan Psychological Services. She began operating alongside Dr. Carrie Hicks in 2023. Dr. Conan provides both psychological assessment and treatment services to children, youth, and adults. Her clinical interests include the assessment of ADHD, intellectual disabilities and complex mental health concerns, and the treatment of anxiety, PTSD, and OCD.
